Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural
As a world traveler, you have likely seen your share of amazing art installations. But we dare say that none are quite like the Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural.
This massive and colorful artwork covers an entire wall that stretches over six kilometers in the heart of Vietnam’s capital city and is well worth a visit for any art lover or Instagrammer. Completed in 2010 on the millennial anniversary of Hanoi, the mural combines both traditional ceramics with contemporary art.

Saigon Central Post Office
While a trip to the post office is usually reserved for mailing a postcard, the Saigon Central Post Office is a tourist destination in and of itself. It was built between 1886 and 1891 in the French colonial architectural style prevalent throughout Ho Chi Minh City. Today, the service is still in operation and is widely regarded as Southeast Asia’s most beautiful post office.
I’m not sure if it’s the beautiful architecture, the fascinating history, or the cool souvenirs, but I love the Saigon Central Post Office! Lady Buddha
While most Buddha sculptures portray men, the tallest in Vietnam depicts a woman. Lady Buddha, located just outside of Da Nang, was built by the Linh Ung Pagoda and stands at 220 feet tall, facing the sea. It reminds us that Buddha, not only Siddhartha Gautama, means “enlightened one.” The monument is set atop a lotus-shaped temple with 17 stories dedicated to various Buddhas.
