Brace yourself! The largest annual diving, adventure travel and water sports exhibition in Indonesia is back this year with Deep and Extreme Indonesia 2013 being staged again on 27th – 30th March 2014 at the Jakarta International Exhibition Center, Jakarta.

In 2014 Indonesia aggressively promotes Diving and Marine leisure and sports: from the amazing beaches of Bali, to the extraordinary dive sites of Raja Ampat, Wakatobi, Bunaken, Flores, the Derawan Islands, the Anambas in the Riau Islands, and a host more. Adventure travel into National Parks is another main feature. Meet up close with Orangutans at the Tanjung Puting National Park, watch Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, climb up Mt. Kelimutu to see the fascinating three-colored lakes, or watch in awe the first rays of the sun climb over the sureal landscape of Mt. Bromo in East Java.

This special event is the one stop opportunity to find and discuss everything and anything about what Indonesia has to offer in amazing Dives around the Archipelago and Extreme Adventure and Sports that will be available for individuals or groups, as well as buyers to discuss arrangements with private sector participants. Combining two exhibitions in one continuous event, the event is a perfect elaboration of Indonesia’s most prominent show featuring an emerging business in the tourism Industry, marine and eco travel. It is also considered an essential agenda for all related key-players in the region especially in Asia and the Pacific Area.

DEEP and EXTREME Indonesia 2014 exhibition will occupy an exhibition space of 4,000 sq. meter and expecting to host more than 150 exhibiting companies ranging from dive and adventure equipment, tourism destinations, and various supporting companies. Marking its 8th edition this year, the show is targeting 20,000 visitors to attend the four-day show.

The first day will be set exclusively for trade visitors and media representatives with several set of programs including the official opening ceremony, buyers’ and sellers meeting, press gathering and conferences and other official programs.

Alongside the massive exhibition, various supporting programs will take place at several locations i.e. the stage, seminar/meeting rooms, competition and demo area, lobby and special designed area inside the exhibition hall. These non-exhibiting events will be held every day from 10.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. (Thursday to Sunday) and are free of extra charges. The supporting programs will include Conferences/seminars, Talkshows, and various competitions.

Conference/seminar sessions have always been one of the most awaited programs during DEEP&EXTREME Indonesia shows. The sessions will address some of the most important issues in the travel and tourism industry, particularly in connection with marine and eco tourism and other related sectors. Some of the world’s renowned individuals will share their experiences and expertise in the talkshows program. During the four-day event, the talk shows will feature specialists in various fields including surface and underwater photographers, outdoor adventuregurus, environment specialists, book authors, artists/celebrities, and more. Higlighting the event will be various competitions including children’s coloring and drawing competition, children’s Wall Competitions, and international underwater photo competition.

DEEP and EXTREME Indonesia is now recognized as one of important events in the region and highly recommended by the diving and related industries involved in the marine and eco tourism businesses.
