What You'll Get

This 8-day, 7-night tour immerses its guests in Thailand and Cambodia's natural jewels: Kirirom National Park and Koh Kong in Cambodia, and Thailand's island of Koh Chang and surrounding islets.

Highlights

Beyond your initial touchdown at Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh, you'll first make your way to Kirirom National Park, recognized for its unique high-elevation pine forest and the unique wildlife it harbors: pleated gibbons, sun bears and tigers, among others.

The Chambok Community-based Ecotourism Site combines an unforgettable local experience with the area's natural wonders: eat a home-cooked lunch, take an ox-cart ride, and trek up to the area's scenic Chambok Waterfall.

A three-hour trip from Kirirom takes you next to the ecotourism haven of Koh Kong, where you'll stay on a tented lodge afloat on the Tatai River while you explore the local fishing villages and mangrove thickets, watching out for fireflies and phosphorescing plankton in the river after dark. Optional trips to Tatai Waterfall and the village on Koh Andet island are available upon request.

Across the border in Thailand, you'll make your way to Koh Chang, a large island with some of the finest beaches and overgrown jungle you'll find in the Gulf of Thailand. Snorkel amidst the coral islands of Koh Yak, Koh Lie and Koh Thong, catch some rays on Koh Rang's unspoiled beach, and admire the natural beauty of Koh Wai.

Optional trips to Koh Kood (Koh Kut) or Klong Chao Waterfall are available upon request.
