After his fist successful performance in Indonesia at the Istora Senayan, Bung Karno Sport Complex, Jakarta on April 2011, Bruno Mars is returning to thrill the audience in Indonesia with his signature voice. This time, the charismatic pop singer will be performing at the Mata Elang Indoor Stadium, at Ancol  Dreamland , Jakarta on 24th March 2014.

The concert forms part of the Moonshine Jungle Tour promoting his 2nd album Unorthodox Jukebox which was released on December 2012. The tour itself started from 22nd June 2013 and has been ongoing through this year. As of September 2013, the tour has grossed $40.5 million from the first 42 shows and attracted over 565,000 audiences. In Jakarta, Bruno Mars and his band will definitely indulge the audience with his electrifying hits such as ‘Locked Out of Heaven’, ‘The Lazy Song’, ‘When I Was Your Man’, ‘Just The Way You Are’ and ‘Grenade’.

Born as Peter Gene Hernandez on 8th October 1985, Bruno Mars was first recognized as a solo artist after lending his vocals to the songs “Nothin’ on You” by B.o.B, and “Billionaire” by Travie McCoy, which were worldwide successes. He also co-wrote the songs “Right Round” by Flo Rida featuring Ke$ha, and “Wavin’ Flag” by K’naan, allowing him to work with an assortment of artists from various genres.

Mars’ debut studio album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans (released in 2010), peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, anchored by the worldwide number-one singles “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade”, as well as by the single “The Lazy Song”. The album was nominated for seven Grammy Awards, winning Best Pop Vocal Performance for “Just The Way You Are”. His second album, Unorthodox Jukebox, peaked at number one in the United States. The album spawned the international singles “Locked Out of Heaven”, “When I Was Your Man” and the moderate success “Treasure”.

Throughout his 3-year singing career, Bruno Mars has sold no less than 10 million albums and 58 million singles worldwide. In total, his combined downloaded works as a singer, songwriter, and producer reached over id=”mce_marker”15 million. As a solo artist he has had five number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and seven top-ten singles, only the second artist to do so after Richard Marx. In 2011, Mars was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world. In 2014, he was ranked number one on the Forbes 30 under 30 list.
