Highlighting the rich  variety and diverse traditional and mouthwatering cuisines from all over the Indonesian Archipelago, the Indonesia Traditional Culinary Week will be staged from 12th to 14th December 2014 at the plaza of the National Monument (Monas), in the capital city of Jakarta.

Presenting various culinary delights from all over the country, the event will feature cooking demos from the exceptional young chefs of Masterchef Junior Indonesia; talks shows from Aku Cinta Masakan Indonesia (ACMI), Omar Niode Foundation (ONF), Young Chef Club Indonesia (YCCI), Indonesia Gastronomy Academy (AGI), and Indonesia Culinary Academy(AKI); cooking competitions, art and cultural performances, and more.

Presented by the Ministry of Tourism and fully supported by the city of Jakarta, Djarum Foundation, Bango, and Quantum, the culinary festivity will involve the regional government bodies, culinary business stakeholders, culinary associations, and various culinary communities.

The Indonesia Traditional Culinary Week is a follow up to the 30 icons of Indonesian traditional culinary program which aims to explore and introduce the abundant wealth of Indonesian culinary splendors from all 34 provinces to global communities. The program also encourages  regional governments to collaborate with all the related stakeholders to develop culinary destinations that have competitive advantages.
