There are 4 precincts within Singapore with significant MICE facilities, alongside a host of non-conventional meetings venues scattered around the rest of the city.

Marina Bay

Home to Singapore’s iconic skyline and the Merlion, the Marina Bay precinct is also where the Raffles City Convention Centre, Sands Expo and Convention Centre and the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre are located, making it Singapore’s MICE Hub. The historical buildings in this area, such as the National Art Gallery or Asian Civilisations Museum, are indicative of Singapore’s colonial past and present opportunities for unique event spaces. Peppered around these venues are a whole range of hotel options that can meet the needs of any business visitor.

Marina Bay is also the heart of Singapore’s art and entertainment centre, the island’s West End. After a busy day’s work, visitors can catch a breather by taking in a show at one of the two major theatre complexes, the Mastercard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands, or Esplanade Theatres on the Bay.

Orchard Road

Commonly known as Singapore’s shopping mecca, Orchard Road can rival the likes of London’s Oxford Street, Paris’ Champs-Elysees and New York’s Fifth Avenue. However, it is also no trade secret that Orchard Road is home to close to 30 hotels, most of which have integrated, state-of-the-art meeting facilities that can hold meetings as small as 50 to conferences as large as 1,500. It is the perfect venue for delegates who want to be in the thick of Singapore’s retail action, with more than 20 shopping malls in their backyard!

Changi

Two of Singapore’s largest exhibition centres, the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the Changi Exhibition Centre, are located within close proximity to the award-winning Singapore Changi Airport. Their strategic location provide both event organisers and delegates the best of both worlds – convenient access from the airport, yet less than 20 minutes from the thick of the action in the city centre – and is prime for events with large international gatherings.

Changi Exhibition Centre’s versatile facilities offer the flexibility to host both indoor and outdoor events, while Singapore Expo and adjoining MAX Atria convention centre is a short walk to two adjoining hotels boasting more than 500 rooms and the Changi City Point shopping mall.

Sentosa Island

A mere 15 minutes from the city centre and yet Sentosa Island feels a world away from Singapore. This island is located to the south of mainland Singapore, and is easily accessible via car, monorail and even a pedestrian promenade.

Sentosa is home to a range of MICE facilities including the Resorts World Convention Centre, and various meetings and conference rooms located within hotels. Coupled with other offerings such as pristine white beaches, sprawling golf courses and thrilling attractions, this makes Sentosa a great meetings and incentives destination, as it offers an exciting backdrop for unique teambuilding activities and escape on every level.
