Combining the thrilling sport of running and hiking, the Tahura Trail Running Race 2015 will be staged at the Taman Hutan Raya Ir.H. Juanda (Tahura) or the Forest Park of Ir.H Juanda in the highlands of Bandung, the capital of West Java Province on 17th to 18th January 2015.

The special running event will be divided into 4 categories: the  21K Half Marathon Trail,the  17K Long Course, the 10K Short Course, and the family category which can be participated by 3 family members.  Each category will pass different routes. The short course will take the same course as the 2013 and 2014 editions of Tahura Trail Running Race, while the long course will take participants to the beautiful Curug Maribaya or Maribaya Waterfall. The family course will be centered around Tahura, while the half Marathon will take participants all the way to Tebing Karaton, Batu Lonceng, and the Dutch Cave. For the family course, there will be several water points provided.

Tahura Trail Running Race is a cross country competition set in open natural tracks over uneven and challenging grounds. Those taking part in the race are advised to anticipate weather changes such as rain, blistering sun, and climate drop. Different from the regular street run, trail running demands extra stamina and spirits.

Taman Hutan Raya Ir.H. Juanda (Tahura) or the Forest Park of Ir.H Juanda is located in the highlands of Bandung, a mere 5km from the heart of city. The forest area is a natural reserve which also acts as a front garden  that provides fresh air for the city. The trees that dominate the “mini” forest provide refreshing atmosphere for visitors and make this a perfect place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.  Here, you can also visit the  Dago Waterfall, the stone tablet a gift from  the King od  Thailan, an open air entertainment stage, the Ir.H.Djuanda Monument, children playground, Japanese Cave, Dutch Cave, the  Omas Waterfall, and more.
