In a big event to accomodate a total of more than 200 Harley Davidson motorcycles to ride from Kuching to Brunei and back covering a total distance of 1873km through the scenic roads of Borneo with stopovers at main towns, cultural villages and tourist destinations. The South East Asia HOG (SEAHOG) joint committee together with the Ministry of Tourism Sarawak will launch the 2nd SEAHOG rally in Borneo from November 15 till November 23 to Sarawak, Malaysia, in Borneo passing through Brunei Darussalam.

On November 19 during the nine day event, Brunei Tourism and representatives of the HOG Brunei Chapter will welcome the SEAHOG rally participants on their courtesy call to Brunei Darussalam for a luncheon on their 5th day of the South East Asia HOG Rally at the iconic Brunei Waterfront in Bandar Seri Begawan. During their stop over in Brunei, participants will be brought to a tour of Kampong Ayer and be given the opportunity to experience scenic rides around Bandar Seri Begawan. The participants will also be treated to a welcoming dinner and a nights stay at a hotel in the Sultanate courtesy of the Brunei Dealership and local authorities before embarking on their next destination.

The South East Asia HOG Rally or known as the “SEAHOG RALLY” was formulated by the Harley Davidson Motor Company in the USA in 2008. The five neighbouring Harley Owners Group Chapters in the Region to jointly organise a rally together known as the South East Asia HOG Rally consisting of HOGs Chapters of Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore and Thailand. The 1st SEAHOG Rally was succesfully completed in 2010 where participants rode from Singapore, throughout peninsular Malaysia and finally ending in Krabi, Thailand.

Brunei Tourism is the Tourism Development Department in Brunei’s Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, in charge of the international promotion and marketing of Brunei as a tourism destination of choice, acting as secretariat and executor of Brunei Tourism Board’s mandate.
