Highlighting Indonesia’s superb golfing destinations, Accor,  leading international hotel operator in Asia Pacific, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia and Garuda Indonesia Malaysia office launched “Wonderful Indonesia Le Club Accorhotels Golf Challenge” on Wednesday, 11th March 2015, in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Targeting over 60,000 international golfers throughout the region to compete in Indonesia’s major golf destinations, the special golf tournaments will not only present challenges and competitions but also Indonesia’s distinct enchanting natural splendors.  Wonderful Indonesia Le Club Accorhotels Golf Challenge will feature a series of 21 golf tournaments which will take place throughout the year 2015 in JakartaSurabayaBaliSemarangYogyakartaBatamMedan, and a final round in the city of Bandung.

Meanwhile, Indonesia’s Tourism  Minister,  Arief Yahya expressed his support for the program saying: “We want to promote our golf destinations to increase international travelers to Indonesia, especially from key focus market countries.  Indonesia has so many world class golf courses with spectacular settings and great hospitality services that appeal to every golfer to return”.

Dasep M. Suanda, Country Manager, Garuda Indonesia Malaysia office, added: “We committed to join this collaboration to bring international and regional golfers to Indonesia.  We will provide a special fare for international golfers flying with Garuda Indonesia to Indonesia’s golf destinations and give extra baggage allowance up to a total of 53 kg”.
