With the opening of the Bali Nusa Dua Hotel attached to the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, the fabulous island of Bali has now become Indonesia’s leading Convention destination, said Dyandra Media International Operational Director, Danny Budiharto, on Sunday, 13 April 2014.

The five star hotel with its 96 luxurious rooms complements the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), the second Convention Hall on the island, located near the Bali International Convention Center (BICC) within the upscale Nusa Dua Integrated Resorts complex.

With these additional facilities, we are confident that we are now able to compete with Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore, said Danny Budiharto, as reported by Kompas daily. Convention capacity on Bali has now also surpassed Jakarta’s.

Nestled among 7 hectares of land, the BNDCC I and BNDC II buildings comprise huge conference halls with state of the art facilities, offering a total capacity for 10,000 delegates. A number of prestigious events have already been held here late 2013 that included the APEC Conference, which was attended by many Heads of Government, followed by the WTO Ministerial conference, and preceded by the Miss World Pageant.

While this year, the Open Governance Partnership will also convene here to be attended by 11 Heads of State.

The Convention Center is managed by PT Nusa Dua Indonesia, that takes care of the company’s properties, conventions and exhibitions.

Indeed, with Bali’s lovely beaches, serene surroundings, vibrant culture, and now complemented with ample Conventions and state of the art facilities, hotels, services, a brand new Airport, and a most scenic route over the sea from the airport, Bali and Nusa Dua now offer some of the best and most appealing environment to stage conducive and successful conferences.
