It was there that Karl Elsener set up his cutlery workshop back in 1884, where he also invented the legendary “Original Swiss Army Knife” a few years later. The company does not only produce the world-famous pocket knives, but now also makes high-quality household and professional knives, watches, travel gear and fragrances, making them the perfect retailer to help travellers with all their needs.

In 2005, the company acquired the long-standing knife  and watch manufacturer Wenger SA in Delémont, Switzerland. The products are now available in the company’s flagship stores and via a comprehensive network of subsidiaries and distributors in more than 120 countries.
